Athena Player, Version 1.5.0 Released
Athena version numbers have changed slightly, we have now adopted the major.minor.build standard, hence the difference in version number format.
Version 1.5.0 continues the steady development of the Player component to bring in features requested by both our clients (the exam authors) and their clients (the customers buying their exams)
Here's what's new in this version
Automatic log file
Athena Player now automatically outputs a log file of events to aid in problem resolution. Whilst less than 1% of customers have any problems with Athena, this advance makes life a lot easier for these limited few.
New text based exam file format
For the benefit of the exam author, a new file format has been introduced. The new format is more convenient for authors to build their question sets in a word processor and import into Athena.
User interface tweaks
A few changes to font sizes and layout have been applied based on feedback from customers using the software on a daily basis
Printable results
The results pane now includes a print button that allows the graph to be sent to a printer
