Can I distribute a 'trial' version of my exam for download?

Sure, a trial exam - thus requiring no serial - must have less than 20 questions though

What if I need to make a change to my exam material?

No problem, Athena allows you to specify whether you're changes are major - requiring a new serial for the end user - or minor - meaning the end user does not require a new serial

Can the software deal with missing words questions?

Not at present. We do plan to implement this in the future though. To get it up the list of priorities, let us know your interest via suggestions@examsoftware.co.uk

Can I limit the number of times a user runs the software in exam mode?

No. There are currently no plans to implement this functionality, if this is something you feel strongly about, drop an email to suggestions@examsoftware.co.uk

Does the end user need to install anything?

Exam packages built and maintained by us use a standalone installer which includes all the relevant files, thus freeing the customer from installing any other software.

How do I get the questions read out to me?

Under Windows, the free software NVDA (http://www.nvda-project.org/) can be used to have a synthetic voice read the question and answers back to you. Simply install the NVDA software and start the Exam Software simulator. Any text under the mouse pointer will be read back to you, so just point to the question, and point to the answers.

How should the software be deployed in a College/Corporate environment?

I've been asked to send a screenshot, how do I do that?

What platform does Athena Player run on?

Athena Player current supports Windows XP and later releases, and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and later releases. We recommend the end users machine is at least a Pentium or Athlon class processor (1+ ghz) with 512mb of Ram and 100mb of free disk space.
