Platform: Macintosh, OS X, Intel, 10.5.x or above.
Symptom: When you double click the application icon, the application icon bounces on the dock and then disappears.
Diagnosis: There are two main reasons this occurs; the first is because you have a PPC Mac - which unfortunately is not supports; or, you have an old version of Java installed on your machine. To install the latest version of Java, please visit the URL below, locate the update that best suits you (for instance, "Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 5"), download and install.
