Running the Software

Platform: Macintosh, OS X, Intel, 10.5.x or above.

Symptom: When you double click the application icon, the application icon bounces on the dock and then disappears.

Basic system requirements to install and run the Athena Player desktop product are as follows:

Operating Systems

• Windows XP
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Intel based Mac running OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or above

Hardware

• Pentium or AMD 1GHz or greater
• 512 MB RAM (Recommended 1 GB RAM for Vista and Windows 7 users)
• Intel based Apple Mac
• 256 MB RAM (Recommended: 512 MB RAM or greater)
• CD or DVD drive if software is purchased on CD

The Athena log file contains valuable information to help us analyse problems encountered on client machines. The log file is automatically created everytime the software is run.
